Balham is a neighbourhood in south London. The settlement appears in the Doomsday Book as Belgeham. Balham is situated between four south London commons namely Chappel Common, Wandsworth Common, Tooting Graveney and Tooting Bec Common.
The polish population in Balham has hugely increased since 2006 though Balham has been one of the centers of the community in London since World War II.
